Second time staying at Albena’s place while traveling for work and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The apartment is well appointed, the location is quiet, and Albena is an excellent and responsive host. I had the perfect stay.

I was so grateful for the chance to return to my favorite space for a peaceful retreat. The Lily Pad is not only a beautiful, clean, place to stay; it's an invitation to breathe, rest, and experience the beauty of nature. It was clearly designed with love and care. The studio is so comfortable, and the garden is truly restorative and healing. Albena and Nikolay are incredible hosts and amazing people! Their kindness, care, and respect for guests' experiences shine through in every detail. And Albena's parents are among the kindest people I have ever met. Finally, the neighborhood is wonderful, and you can't go wrong with Albena's excellent recommendations. I can't recommend The Lily Pad more highly!

What a tremendous experience, felt immediately at home and encouraged to be a homebody by how delightfully organized the place is, I did some of my best work as an artist here all year and ever, perfectly conducive environment to inspiration and alacrity. I leave feeling deeply refreshed and nourished. Hosts are clearly people who truly care about providing a good experience, truly 5 stars does little justice. Will be back

It has been a lovely stay and really made me feel like home. The place is quiet and convenient to everything. The host is friendly and easy to communicate with. I personally liked the interior of the space and it seems like the host has a good taste for things.

This is a fabulous place to stay! It is absolutely beautiful and very private, with lovely landscaping and a great patio. It is aptly named an "urban oasis". There are many nice touches inside. Albena was very communicative before and during our stay. We were very impressed and happy with our visit.

Very lovely cottage surrounded by so much beautiful plants and flowers. Cozy but well appointed; the house has everything - garment steamer, full kitchen, lots of mugs ( I drink tea all day long!), good cookware, etc. Quiet, but near many shops and restaurants. It's my second time staying with Albena and she's a great host. Will definitely come back!

This place really lives up to its name - Urban Oasis. It should have the word paradise added to the description. I was looking for a place to host international guests and wanted a place which they could rest and have some privacy as they recovered from jet lag. As a local resident, I found it hard to believe that such a beautiful location existed so close by. The backyard reminded me of Hawaii. It was so beautiful and serene. Albena has gone above and beyond with all her unique decorative touches, supplies for the home (from phone chargers to best selling books). We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was stocked with pots, lots of dishes, and cooking utensils and supplies. Albena was so warm and friendly and super responsive and had some great tips for what to do. I even learned a few new things. My guests would have been happy to just stay in the home and enjoy it rather than venturing out to SF. I've already recommended this place to friends. It's so delightful!

This was our first Airbnb experience A&N have done a great job in setting up a wonderful place. They have thought of everything you would need Highly recommend them to anyone We have spent more than $1000 in hotel suites not as nice as this one Please go visit. Enjoy the Koi fish pond. We very much enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. High points are the excellent kitchen with a sliding glass door opening onto the lovely deck and spectacular tropical garden with koi pond. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, eg, to Arizmendi bakery, Trader Joe's, and Macarthur BART station. Albena was extremely responsive and a great host. We hope to stay there again.

This was our second long-term stay (each stay being several weeks) at the Sunset Serene Cottage and we will definitely be coming back for more. Consider this as your home away from home. The location and the view cannot be beat. The house is perfect for us as a couple - bedroom, kitchen, living room, and bathroom have everything you need for a relaxing and convenient stay. It’s surrounded by so much nature, and it was wonderful to have a busy day and then come home to this oasis. Neighborhood is also very safe and we took many walks to enjoy the view of the Bay. We thank Albena and Nikolay for promptly responding to our queries and for generously accommodating our special requests. Already planning our next visit! 🌅🏡💕
