It has a plenty of closet space, full kitchen with a living room and is designed with comfort, functionality and minimum impact in mind. Sleek, modern, and perfectly sized. This compact flat maximizes every inch with stylish design; open concept living at its finest. The seamless flow between kitchen, bedroom, and living areas is both functional and visually appealing. Minimalist elegance and a cozy sanctuary. There is also a koi pond with a waterfall out back, with a lush garden. It’s perfect for business travelers, visiting UC Berkeley professors, visiting couples. Max occupancy 2 people at all times. It's a private GROUND level unit in our 1910 California Craftsman. It is a 2-steps down Garden Guest Suite wrapped in lush greenery, sporting radiant heated polished cement floors. With its clean lines, The Minimalist offers a contemporary atmosphere with the serenity of an urban oasis. With its sunken excavation design - it provides both privacy from the street side and maximizes the insulative natural geo-thermo properties of Mother Earth. It helps with keeping the apartment warm in winter and cool in the summer, eliminating the need for an AC, thus minimizing its environmental impact. In addition utilizes hydronic radiant heated floors throughout the apartment, perfect during colder winter months. It has a beautiful small outdoor patio, access to our lush tropical backyard with a koi fish pond and plenty of unrestricted parking on our street and a Lyft bike station down the street, along with a free shuttle to Bart and to our favorite Berkeley Bowl ( a Natural Healthy Grocery Store - a local institution). We also have a running track and outdoor pool across the street, and an outdoor gym a few houses up the street from us. Very central Bay Area location, close to major highways and Bay Bridge. It's an easy commute to downtown San Francisco, Berkeley, Oakland and moments away from local businesses, Emeryville Marina and bay side nature trails. There are two steps down to the apartment, and the interior has only one level. PLEASE communicate your check-in / check out times. Helps tremendously with being on alert to assist if need be for a smooth check-in.
