The sunken excavation provides both privacy from the neighbors, insulative properties to keep the space warm in winter and cool in summer. It also creates a serene environment and a feeling of being emerged into the nature. Very private and secluded. It feels like a green oasis - serene and peaceful. It has a great SHARED outdoor garden with koi fish pond, lemon trees, bougainvillea, flowering plants on a very quiet street, just 2 blocks away from animation Studio PIXAR, walking distance to local bars, shops, restaurants. Very convenient FREE shuttle ( Emery-go-round) to BART ( metro station), shops and Emeryville Marina. Great for artists, writers, business travelers or visitors who love nature and plan to explore the area during the day. 🌿 THE HOSTS: 🍃 We are a friendly, quiet and considerate couple - landscape architect and a musician ( Nick ) and a psychologist ( Albena ).
